It was a dark and unusual night on planet Sphatrix. Why unusual? That was because planet Sphatrix, the planet of robots, was shut down.
The robots WH1-3 and Yz50 were chatting together.
- “Hey, Yz50, why do you think everything turned off?” said WH1-3.
- “Probably because of the GLitch”
- “Yeah, maybe, even though I thought SRO took care of this problem”
- “They’re probably going to solve the Glitch soon”
WH1-3 and Yz50 were so busy talking they didn’t notice that behind them, the pitch black sky was turning into a mysterious, colourful void that seemed to be morphing time and surrounding planet Sphatrix. Before they could even react, a ginormous creature dressed in black and red robes came out from the void and single-handedly captured them, forcing WH1-3 and Yz50 to get into the void.

‘My life is just a sparkle of humanity.’
That’s what the school robot told me when I asked him the question:
‘What kind of life are you compared to the rest of humanity?’
I just loved asking stupid, philosophical questions to this robot. You see, when your name is Tom and you’re 14 years old in an artificial, simulated school, the best thing to do during an exam was to mess with the school robot.
I realised that the robot teacher RK21 was asking me a question.
‘What, Tom, is the answer to question 4 in the school exam?’
I stared at my worksheet.
‘I know the answer, but sorry to tell you that I’m not the person you should question, RK21.’
‘You’re getting detention, Tom, as you should not be insolent with your teacher’, replied RK21.
As soon as the exam finished, I rushed out of the school and hopped on my hoverboard. Then I hovered home like a fly does in the night sky.

This morning, it was officially the weekend! That’s why I got to the International Robotics and Science museum, aka the IRS, to watch crazy scientists show what they can do. Even though it is sometimes boring like school, you still got to participate in cool experiments and watch people create explosions.
I arrived at the museum and it was even more gigantic than before! That’s because they opened a whole new section called the crazy-lab, and that’s exactly where I was going today! The doors all looked the same, so basically I just opened each door and saw if there was something cool. After 5 minutes of constant opening, I found a door unlike all others. Why? It was written “Staff only”. I didn’t care who was allowed to go in there, so I took a big breath and entered. And, in front of me, lied probably the strangest thing humanity has ever seen. I didn’t know what it was, but it looked like a sort of interdimensional portal. Before I could even examine it a hand pulled me in, and I felt myself being sucked in an infinite void, and lost consciousness.
